Ingredients

  • 500g Beef sausages, skin removed
  • 200g Diced bacon
  • 1 Diced onion
  • Your favorite BBQ sauce
  • 2 cups Grated cheese
  • 5 Puff pastry sheets
  • 1 Egg, beaten
  • A sprinkle of Sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to a hot 200°C (that’s about 392°F for my friends using Fahrenheit).
  2. Gently persuade the skins off your sausages and set that meaty goodness aside.
  3. In a pan, cook your bacon and onion until the onion is whispering sweet nothings and the bacon is singing with crispiness.
  4. In a bowl, lovingly combine the bacon, onion, and sausage meat until they’re best friends.
  5. Cut your pastry sheets with the care of a craftsman, making two halves from each sheet.
  6. On each pastry half, draw a line of BBQ sauce down the center, like you’re marking a treasure map.
  7. Pile on the sausage mixture and crown it with a generous amount of grated cheese.
  8. Roll up the pastry, seal the edges, and brush the tops with egg to make them shine like the sun.
  9. Sprinkle them with sesame seeds, then cut each roll into 5 pieces to share the love.
