Beef Keema cooked

Indian Beef Keema

Description

Hey everyone! I’ve got a mouth-watering recipe that’s perfect for those busy weeknights – Easy Indian Beef Keema! This dish is packed with flavour, easy to make, and absolutely delicious. Let’s get cooking! 🍛

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1kg beef mince
  • 2 diced onions
  • 500g diced potatoes
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 2 tbsp curry powder
  • 1 tbsp crushed garlic
  • 1 tbsp crushed ginger
  • 1 tbsp garam masala
  • 2 tbsp beef stock powder
  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • Optional: chilli powder
  • Bunch of fresh mint

Instructions

  1. Heat a pan with some olive oil. Add the onions, garlic, and ginger. Cook for a few minutes until the onion is soft and lightly coloured.
  2. Add the beef mince and break it up.
  3. Add your spices (curry powder, garam masala, and chilli if you like it spicy) while the beef is still cooking to let those flavours really sink in. Stir until the beef is fully cooked.
  4. Toss in the potatoes and peas. Add some water, mix well, and cover the pan. Let it cook for about 10 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.
  5. Remove the lid and add a few tablespoons of vinegar. Cook with the lid off until the water evaporates.
  6. Just before serving, stir in fresh mint or coriander for a burst of freshness.

I love serving this with rice or chapati bread, and don’t forget to mix some yoghurt with fresh mint and lemon juice for a refreshing side! 🍋

Enjoy your Easy Indian Beef Keemar! 🥘
