Frequently Asked Questions

Can I substitute Gorgonzola with another type of cheese?
Absolutely! While Gorgonzola adds a unique tangy and creamy flavour to this dish, you can substitute it with other blue cheeses like Roquefort or Stilton for a similar taste. If you prefer a milder flavour, try using a creamy Brie or Camembert. Just ensure the cheese melts well to create a luscious sauce. 🧀
This dish is already vegetarian-friendly! However, if you’re using stock, make sure it’s vegetable stock to keep it completely vegetarian. You can also add more veggies like mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, or peas for extra texture and flavour. 🌱
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. When reheating, add a splash of cream or milk to loosen the sauce, and heat gently on the stovetop or in the microwave. This will help maintain the creamy consistency and prevent the gnocchi from becoming too dry. 🥡
