Cooking Tips and Tricks
- Use Fresh Ingredients: The fresher the veggies, the more vibrant and tasty your quiche will be.
- Grate and Squeeze: For the zucchini, make sure to grate it finely and then squeeze out the excess water. This will prevent your quiche from becoming too soggy.
- Cheese Choices: While a standard tasty cheese works wonderfully, feel free to experiment with other cheeses like feta or gouda for a unique flavour twist.
- Season Well: Don’t skimp on the salt and pepper. These simple seasonings really bring out the flavours of the vegetables.
Pairing Suggestions
This recipe pairs beautifully with a light salad, perhaps one made of mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, and a simple vinaigrette. For a heartier meal, serve it alongside roasted veggies or a bowl of soup. And if you’re hosting a brunch, pair it with some fresh fruit and a glass of chilled sparkling water or a mimosa. 🍷🥗

Thank you Linda. How many stars is it worth 🙂
as per your instructions, so easy, a huge hit with the great grandies, not one of them realized the dreaded zucchini lurked inside!
Winner 🙂 so glad it was a hit. Have you tried my chocolate zucchini cake? No one can tell it’s in there. Try it and let me know what you think.

I’d the calories per slice. How many does itmake
Hi Kay, it serves 4, so 4 equal slices. If you end up cutting it into more slices than that, just divide the total (which works out to around 2684 calories for the whole quiche) by however many pieces you cut, and that’ll give you a more accurate number per slice.
