Quick Lamb Kebabs with Garlic Yoghurt Sauce

This is such a handy dinner when you want something a bit fun but still easy enough for a busy night. You’ve got seasoned lamb, crispy wraps, and a simple garlic yoghurt sauce that pulls the whole thing together.

A few simple ingredients turn into a proper family dinner without too much fuss, which is always a win.

These kebabs are packed with flavour, nice and crispy on the outside, and easy to serve with salad on the side.

Spread the lamb mixture as evenly as you can so the kebabs cook through properly. Make sure the wraps are layered and pressed together well before skewering.

Serve these with the garlic yoghurt sauce and a green salad, just as the recipe suggests.

Quick Lamb Kebabs with Garlic Yoghurt Sauce

These lamb kebabs are made with seasoned lamb mince layered into wraps, baked or air fried until crisp, then served with a simple garlic yoghurt sauce. It’s a fun, easy dinner that feels a bit different without being hard work.

Ingredients
 

  • large white wraps
  • 1 pkt lamb mince
  • 2 tbsp Moroccan seasoning
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 bunch continental parsley
  • 4 skewers
  • 1 cup Greek style thick and creamy natural yoghurt
  • minced garlic
  • 1/2 lemon
  • salt
  • pepper

Method
 

  1. Place lamb mince in a bowl.
  2. Finely slice parsley leaves.
  3. Mix together the lamb mince, breadcrumbs, Moroccan seasoning, parsley leaves and salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Divide into 4.
  5. Place 6 wraps on your board and cut off edges to turn into squares.
  6. Place 1 wrap down and spread 1 portion of lamb onto your wrap.
  7. Repeat with all but 1 wrap.
  8. Now layer them all on top of each other finishing with the bare wrap.
  9. Cut into 4 equal strips.
  10. Now turn them on their side and connect them.
  11. Connect your wrap stacks with 4 skewers.
  12. Place them evenly.
  13. Now cut between each skewer to create 4 equal kebabs.
  14. Place them on a baking tray covered in baking paper, drizzling with olive oil.
  15. Pop into the oven on 200C for 25 mins or air fry 180C for 15 mins.
  16. For the sauce: Mix together Greek yoghurt, crushed garlic, juice of half a lemon and salt and pepper to taste and mix altogether.
  17. Serve kebabs with sauce and a green salad.
