Hi everyone! ๐ŸŒŸ Welcome to day 7 of eating more vegetables!ย  Today, I’m super excited to share my Creamy Cheesy Hot Spinach Dip recipe. It’s a crowd-pleaser, perfect for any gathering, and oh-so-delicious! ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿฅ˜


Ingredients

  • 3 diced green onions ๐ŸŒฑ
  • 300g fresh spinach leaves & 500g frozen spinach ๐Ÿƒ
  • 1 tbsp crushed garlic ๐Ÿง„
  • 2 packets French onion soup mix ๐Ÿง…
  • 250g cream cheese ๐Ÿง€
  • 300g sour cream
  • 1 cup grated cheese (plus extra for topping) ๐Ÿง€

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200C.
  2. In a hot pan with olive oil, add the onions, fresh and frozen spinach, and garlic. Cook for about 5 minutes until the spinach is defrosted and the excess water has evaporated. ๐Ÿณ
  3. Stir in the French onion soup mix, cream cheese, sour cream, and grated cheese. Keep stirring until everything is melted and well combined. ๐ŸŒช๏ธ
  4. Transfer to a baking dish, sprinkle extra cheese on top, and bake for 10 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly. ๐Ÿง€๐Ÿ”ฅ
  5. Serve it hot with crusty bread or in a cob loaf for an extra special touch! ๐Ÿž๐Ÿฅ–
