Wonton Soup

This is the kind of soup that feels like a big warm hug in a bowl. It’s cosy, comforting and full of flavour, but still easy enough to throw together on a weeknight when you can’t be bothered with anything too fussy.

You’ve got juicy little pork meatballs, soft noodles or wrappers, and a rich savoury broth that tastes like way more effort than it really is. Proper comfort food without the carry-on.

Why you’ll love it

It’s quick, comforting and made with simple ingredients. The pork meatballs make it feel hearty, and the broth is rich and tasty without needing hours on the stove.

Handy tips

Roll the meatballs nice and small so they cook quickly in the broth. Add the bok choy and green onions right at the end so they stay fresh and bright instead of going sad and soggy.

Serving ideas

Serve it hot with crispy chilli oil on top if you like a bit of heat. It works well as an easy dinner on its own when you want something warm and filling.
