**Basic Cake Batter:**

**To make it a coconut cake do this:**

  • swap 1 cup milk to 1 cup coconut milk or cream
  • 2 cups desiccated or shredded coconut
  • 1/4 cup shaved coconut on top (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (360°F).
  2. In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into your cake or loaf tin.
  4. Sprinkle shaved coconut on top if you are using it.
  5. Bake for 1 hour, or until a skewer comes out clean.
  6. Let it cool, then slice and enjoy your tasty creation! 😋

Tips:

  • For an extra flavour boost, try adding a splash of vanilla extract to the batter.
