Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 500g Italian pork sausages (meat removed from casings)
  • 1 tbsp crushed garlic
  • 1 tbsp dried thyme leaves
  • 1 tbsp beef stock powder
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 700ml jar tomato passata
  • 300g spinach leaves
  • Salt and pepper
  • 500g dried Spaghetti, cooked

Instructions

  1. In a hot pan with some olive oil, add your sausages and break them apart while browning.
  2. Once brown, add garlic, thyme, and stock powder plus a cup of water. Scrape all those lovely brown bits into the sauce.
  3. Pour in the tomato pasata, reduce the heat and cover it up. Let it bubble away for 15 minutes.
  4. Uncover and mix in the spinach leaves until wilted. Season with salt and pepper, and stir through your cooked pasta.
