  • 2.5 cups milk

  • 1 tbsp gelatine

  2. **Prep the Buns:** Slice your hot cross buns in half horizontally. Arrange the bottom halves in a baking dish with sides, making sure they are snug and touching.
  3. **Assemble:** Pour the custard over the bottom halves, spreading it evenly. Gently place the top halves of the buns on the custard layer.
  4. **Chill:** Pop the assembled buns in the fridge to cool and set. About 2 hours should do the trick!
  5. **Serve:** Once cooled, slice your buns into individual servings and enjoy!
