Ingredients
  

  • 2 large onions diced
  • 1/2 bunch celery diced
  • 4 carrots diced
  • 1 kg pork and veal mince
  • 2 stems of rosemary
  • 1 tbsp thyme
  • 4 cans diced tomatoes
  • 1 bottle Shiraz minus 1 glass
  • Salt and pepper
  • Lasagne sheets
  • Cheesy white sauce 100g butter, 2 tbsp flour, 1 litre milk, 1 cup pizza cheese, salt, and pepper

Method
 

  1. Sauté onions, celery, and carrots until tender and fragrant.
  2. Combine pork and veal mince with sautéed veggies and cook until browned.
  3. Add diced tomatoes, rosemary, thyme, and Shiraz. Simmer for 2 hours.
  4. Prepare the cheesy white sauce by melting butter, whisking in flour, adding milk, and stirring in pizza cheese until melted.
  5. Remove rosemary stems from the meat sauce for smooth texture.
  6. Layer lasagne: meat sauce, lasagne sheets, and white sauce. Repeat.
  7. Pour the heavenly cheesy white sauce on top.
  8. Air fry at 180°C for 30 minutes or bake in oven at 180°C for 40-45 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  9. Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
