Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups plain flour
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1 1/4 cups milk

Method
 

  1. **Preheat your oven**: Pop your cast iron pot and lid in your oven at 220ยฐC to heat up. ๐Ÿ”ฅ
  2. **Mix the dough**: In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients together until combined. Give it a little knead just until it forms a ball. ๐Ÿคฒ
  3. **Prepare the dough**: Cut a cross on the top of the dough, about 1 cm deep. This helps the bread to rise and gives it a lovely rustic look. โœ‚๏ธ
  4. **Bake**: Place the dough into your hot pot with a bit of baking paper on the bottom (less washing up!). Pop the lid back on and bake in the oven for 45 minutes. โฒ๏ธ
