Cheesy Baked Meatballs

This is the sort of dinner that feels cosy and proper without being hard work. You’ve got tender meatballs, a rich tomato sauce, plenty of basil, and crispy bread on the side for mopping everything up.

ALDI’s Authentic Italian Passata is tasty, affordable, and ready to use straight from the shelf, which makes easy dinners like this so much simpler.

Why you’ll love it

The soaked bread keeps the meatballs nice and soft, the fetta adds loads of flavour, and the passata does the heavy lifting for the sauce.

Handy tips

Soak the bread properly before mashing it into the mince mixture. Keep the meatballs roughly the same size so they cook evenly.

Serving ideas

Serve these with the crispy bread and plenty of sauce, just like the recipe says.
