Cheesy Baked Meatballs
Ingredients
Method
- Cut a quarter of the French stick and break it into small pieces.
- Place in a bowl, pour over half a cup of water and soak for a few minutes.
- Mash the bread, then add fetta, mince, salt and pepper.
- Mix well.
- Pour passata and half a bottle of water into an ovenproof pan.
- Rip in basil leaves, add salt, pepper and a drizzle of olive oil.
- Roll the mince mixture into meatballs and place them into the sauce.
- Pop the lid on and cook in the oven for 30 minutes.
- Slice the remaining breadstick, add olive oil, sprinkle with salt and bake at 200C until golden.
- Serve with crispy bread and plenty of the sauce.
