Raid the Pantry Loaf
This is exactly the kind of bake I love. It’s simple, flexible, and made with everyday staples you’ve probably already got floating around the pantry and fridge.
A bit of grated fruit or veg, a handful of extras, and you’ve got a lovely loaf ready for lunchboxes, morning tea, or a quick slice with a cuppa.
Why you’ll love it
This loaf is easy, budget-friendly, and really forgiving. It’s the sort of recipe you can tweak depending on what needs using up.
Handy tips
Don’t overmix once the dry ingredients go in. If you’re using juicy fruit or veg, give it a light squeeze first.
Serving ideas
Slice it up once it’s cooled and serve it as is, or with a little butter if that’s your thing.
