Curry Beef Pasties are flaky pastry pockets stuffed with curried beef mince and vegetables. Comforting, delicious, and perfect for a family meal or snack.

Ingredients
 

  • 1 pkt puff pastry
  • 500 g Beef mince
  • 2 diced potatoes
  • 1 diced carrot
  • 1 diced celery stick
  • 1 diced onion
  • 1 can corn drained
  • 1 tbsp crushed garlic
  • 1 tbsp stock powder
  • 1/4 cup tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp curry powder

Method
 

  1. In a frying pan with a tad of oil, toss in your vegetables. Cook 'em up till they're soft (about 5 mins).
  2. Add that beautiful beef and cook until it’s all browned up.
  3. Stir in garlic, tomato paste, and curry powder and let it cook for an additional 5 mins.
  4. Cool it down in the fridge.
  5. Cut each pastry slice in half. Spoon 1/2 cup of beef mix on one side and fold it over. Seal those edges nice and tight!
  6. Line ‘em up on a baking tray with baking paper. Pop into a 200C oven for 20 to 30 mins until golden brown and scrumptious.
